Soy
Entrepreneur Development Programs
For
the first time in India, USB/ASA
started conducting five-day
soy food training program
to encourage both new entrepreneurs
and exiting soy food manufacturers
to start new soy food products.
These programs were conducted
in co-ordination with a local
universities and a state-run
industries organizations.
There was an overwhelming
response to these programs
with more than 120 people
coming from all over India.
USB/ASA consultants discussed
a number of soy food opportunities
during these five days and
related some first-hand experiences.
USB/ASA is planning to conduct
these programs regularly in
different parts of India as
an alternate to expensive
international training programs.
